Born in Argentina, I moved to Chile and then Israel, before settling in the United States in 1966. This international upbringing led to my love of language and the ability to speak – English, Spanish, Hebrew, French, and Italian.
I have been a State Certified court interpreter since 1981, acting as the channel for hundreds of defendants needing to be understood. I interpreted for the defendant currently serving the longest sentence in the history of California (325 consecutive years).
I’m proud that my very first client is still my client today, with many of my interpreters working with me for over 30 years. I have built my loyal network of clients, interpreters, reputation, goodwill, based on my values of respect, suitability, and collaboration.
Personally, I have 3 beautiful children, 5 wonderful grandchildren, and enjoy travel, opera, and hitting the gym with my trainer.
I speak English, Hebrew, and a bit of Spanish. However, I do speak legalese. I am a lawyer, licensed in Florida-1971, Israel-1997; elected official-Miami-Dade County, Florida Commissioner 1976-1990; Judge Pro-Temp, Santa Fe, NM; lobbyist, managed local, state and national political campaigns; mediator, work-place mediator, arbitrator, negotiator, motivational speaker, news reporter for The Jewish Press; CEO tech companies; financier and producer of independent films, investor in hi-tech startups, entrepreneur, investment banker-Series 79, series 65, 63, life, health, property/casualty license, (0F86645), State of California.
